Summer Tote Program
Take the guesswork out of knowing what the best-tasting, in-season produce is each month of the summer. With over 95 years of experience growing fruits and veggies, we fill our weekly and monthly tote boxes with sweet corn and tomatoes at just the right times during the season to ensure freshly harvested quality. 97% of past program participants tell us the tote boxes have high-quality produce. Sourcing directly from Tuttle's fields and supplementing with other local farmers allows us to have some of the freshest fruits and veggies around. We bring in fresh out-of-state fruits from farms we know and trust. This allows us to include items that grow better in other climates, such as Michigan blueberries and South Carolina peaches. Be surprised every tote with a great new selection of items to try.

Weekly Tote
Months: Middle of May – August
Frequency: Weekly, 13 totes in the Summer season.
Pickup Dates: Wednesdays starting May 20th
OR Thursdays starting May 21st
Please note: This is a 14-week program, you will be charged for 13 weeks, and everyone will receive a vacation week. If you do not request a vacation during the season, you will not receive the last tote of the season on August 19th or 20th.
Tuttle’s pick up will be offered on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Your day will not change from week to week. Please select the day of the week you will pick up every week. Location pick ups will only be offered one day specific to that location.
Wednesday pick up includes: North Mass Boulder, Irvington Vinyl and Books, JCC Indianapolis, Crunch Fitness- Broad Ripple.
Thursday pick up includes: Wasson Nursery, Indiana Artisan, Geist Coffee.
What would my small tote include?
Smaller portion of 4-5 seasonal produce items.
Recommended for 1-3 people who love produce or a family who only cook a few times a week.
What would my large tote include?
Standard portion of 6-8 seasonal produce items.
Recommended for a family of 3-6 people who like produce or 2-3 people who love produce, like to cook at home, or try new recipes.
The large tote will receive items the small tote might not get during the season. Portions of items will often be larger than the small tote (for example the small tote might have 4 ears of corn and the large might have 10 ears in the tote. The small might have a pint of blueberries and the large might have a quart).
Monthly Tote
Designed for those who have busy summers and might not be home to cook or eat produce every week. It’s also a great fit for those who want to have some produce for the summer but don't need new items weekly. The monthly tote also includes a freshly baked item from Breadworks and a local food product from our store. The monthly totes don't have "vacation weeks". Please choose the option with the dates that will work best with your schedule. You can sign up for BOTH option if desired, as contents will often be different.
Frequency: Monthly, 4 totes in the Summer season.
Pickup Dates:
Option 1 (GREEN) WEDNESDAYS: June 3, June 24, July 15, August 5
Option 1 (GREEN) THURSDAYS: June 4, June 25, July 16, August 6
Option 2 (BLUE) WEDNESDAYS: June 10, July 1, July 22, August 12
Option 2 (BLUE) THURSDAYS: June 11, July 2, July 23, August 13

What would my monthly box include?
5-7 seasonal produce items. Portions of these will be similar to a large box.
1 local food item from the farm store, such as Local Pickles, Local Made Peanut Butter, Indiana Honey, or Tuttle’s Applesauce/Apple Butter.
1 fresh bakery item from Breadworks in Greencastle such as Seasonal Fruit Turnovers, Quick Bread, Sourdough, or Cinnamon Rolls.
Pickup Locations
Once you register, you will pick up at the same time and location all season long. If you select Tuttles as your pickup site you can decide between Wednesday or Thursday. Location pick ups will only be offered one day specific to that location. Some are Wednesday afternoon and some are Thursday afternoon! Pickup sites are not required to store the totes after closing, they will donate boxes not picked up.
Exclusive Behind the Scenes Tour of the Farm
We will be offering an exclusive (tote member only) behind the scenes tour of our growing areas- included with your tote membership. A Date TBD our produce grower, Luke, will take you on a wagon ride around the farm with stops at our high tunnels and fields. He will talk about what we grow, learning a little about our systems and growing methods along the way.
