Turnips, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch wedges
Pepper
Nutmeg
Olive oil
Salt
Freshly grated Parmesan
I left the ingredient amounts for this recipe blank because you can decide however much you want for this side. It will be good no matter how much you put- be sure to go heavy on the cheese!
Directions
You can select however many turnips you desire for this recipe. I used two turnips while making this (seen in the photo below) recipe- it was the perfect amount for two people. Preheat oven to 475 degrees. On a rimmed baking sheet or baking dish, combine turnips, pepper, nutmeg, and oil. Just use enough to coat the turnip pieces. Season with salt and pepper to taste and toss well to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan and mix gently to combine. Arrange turnips in a single layer and roast until golden on both sides which will be about 25 minutes. Flip them halfway through.
