FAQ

Allergens?

Please note that all caramel apples are made in a kitchen where peanuts and tree nuts are present.

We use the freshest tart apple that’s in season. For early September, we use Gala or Early Blaze. For September, October, and November, we use Jonathan apples. For December, we may use Gold Rush apples.  For summer months, we use granny smith apples.

We do not deliver. Pickup is at our orchard located at 5717 N 300 W, Greenfield, IN 46140 during normal business hours.

If you are preparing for a Saturday wedding, we would recommend you picking up the apples on Thursday afternoon or Friday so they can be made fresh for your event. Apples are made fresh and will keep for one week.

They should be kept out of intense heat or sun. DO NOT refrigerate apples.  This will cause the caramel to fall off the apples.

No, plain apples are only available in bulk.  We cannot wrap the plain apples nor do we advise people to try to wrap them as the plastic will pull the caramel off the apples. For those who don’t prefer nuts, we recommend the sprinkle apples.

For orders being picked up at our Farm Store, we do allow guests to bring in custom ribbons or raffia with the following guidelines.  The ribbon/raffia must be pre-cut to 16″ in length.  Ribbons need to be delivered to our store one week before the pickup date.  It must be a single piece of ribbon or raffia.  There is no extra charge for using a custom pre-cut rafffia or ribbon.  If you desire a complex bow, multiple colors of raffia/ribbon, or adding tags to the bows, we will require an add on charge of 25 cents per apple.

Yes, if you live in the Indianapolis area we have guests who do this all the time.  We recommended picking your apples up on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday for a Friday/Saturday event.  This will allow time for packaging.  Our apples fit will in a plastic bag that is ____ in size.  They will not fit curved edge Wilton bags as they don’t go through the center.
