& Senior Group Visits
Every year, we welcome senior groups, nursing homes, and assisted living facility residents to explore the farm and shop in our farm store. Many groups visit the orchard to enjoy fall activities and viewing our observation bee hive at their own relaxed pace. There is no charge to visit and plenty of free activity options are available, but reservations are required for groups of 10 or more. We appreciate knowing when small assisted living, facilities, or senior groups are planning to visit when eating at the café.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit the café for assisted living facilities, and senior groups in the fall is in September, as we cannot accept reservations in October. We also encourage your group to visit in the afternoon after 2PM, due to the large volume of school groups visiting during the morning hours.
We do not have private indoor seating in the fall. Seating is available in our covered greenhouse and outdoor tables.
Fall parking is limited. Please note that you will need to be able to navigate gravel and grassy areas. Paved areas are available around the farm store and the cafe, but the orchard areas are difficult to maneuver in wheelchairs without extra assistance.
