Assisted Living
& Senior Group Visits
Every year, we welcome senior groups, nursing homes, and assisted living facility residents to explore the farm and shop in our farm store. Many groups visit the orchard to enjoy fall activities at their own relaxed pace. There are plenty of free activity options available. There is a charge to visit the FarmYard activities area.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit the Grill for assisted living facilities, and senior groups in the fall is in September. We also encourage your group to visit in the afternoon after 2PM, due to the large volume of school groups visiting during the morning hours.
Seating
We do not have private indoor seating in the fall. Seating is available in our covered greenhouse and outdoor tables.
Parking
Fall parking is limited. Please note that you will need to be able to navigate gravel and grassy areas. Paved areas are available around the Farm Store and patio areas, but the orchard areas are difficult to maneuver in wheelchairs without extra assistance.
