1 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 cups chopped Tuttle's tomatoes
2 cups sweet corn freshly cut off the cob, drained
1 (7oz.) box macaroni and cheese mix
¼ cup chopped onion
1 tsp. chili powder
2 ¼ cups hot water
This recipe is a favorite of my husband and as been made by his family for many years. It’s very similar to a Hamburger Helper meal but is so much better with the fresh produce involved!
Brown ground beef and onion in 3 quart saucepan; drain. Return to pan; stir in chili powder. Add water; bring to a boil. Stir in macaroni, chopped tomatoes, and sweet corn. Simmer uncovered over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in contents of cheddar cheese mix packet and serve immediately. This will make about 6 servings.
We ate this meal with some fresh Indiana strawberries on the side!
