Family Fun – Farm to Table Summer Wagon Rides

Want to get a behind the scenes glimpse of our farm to table operation and veggie growing areas? We will be offering special Farm to Table Summer Wagon Rides on Saturday, July 16th. These tours are a great way to learn about the produce we grow on our farm.  In addition, Tractor Town will be open from 10am – 4pm on this Saturday, so be sure to choose the combo pass option for extra fun!

Wagon Ride Experience includes:

  • Brief History of the Orchard and Local Farms
  • Overview of Farm to Table Fresh
  • Wagon ride to several veggie growing areas on the farm
  • Picking tips for different types of produce. For example:  Learn how to tell if sweet corn is ripe, etc.
  • 1 hour lesson/guided tour

Cost for Activities:

Farm to Table Wagon Ride (advance tickets required):

  • Child – $10.00/each
  • Adult – $10.00/each
  • Kids 1 & under – Free

  • Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian throughout this activity.
  • Strollers are NOT recommended for this event due to the farm terrain.

Tractor Town Kids Area:

  • Open 10am-4pm these two Saturdays.
  • Tickets purchased day of event. No advanced tickets needed.
  • Weather permitting.
  • Child Tractor Town Only (ages 2-13): – $7.00/each
  • Child Tractor Town & Wagon Ride Ticket (ages 2-13) – $14.00/each

Refunds:  

This is a non-refundable event unless there are extenuating circumstances due to COVID.  If you are unable to attend due to COVID, then please contact Christie before the event at 317-326-2278 and press 5 or christie@tuttleorchards.com.

Rain:

This event and Tractor Town will NOT be held if it is raining.  In the event of a cancellation due to rain, you will receive a text message the morning of the event. Please be aware that we will not make this determination until the morning, as Indiana weather often changes by morning from the evening forecast.  In the event of a cancellation due to weather, you will receive a refund.

Location:

Park in the gravel parking lot on the west side of the road.  Please walk towards the pergola and the check-in for class will be in the building to your right.  Please look for the signs directing you to the classroom.

Mask Policy:

At this time, masks will not be required for this event which follows the current governmental regulations.

Additional Information:

Sunblock, and if it’s been very wet, bug spray is recommended for this event.

Classes that do not meet the minimum requirements of 15 registered participants may be cancelled.
