Canning and Freezing Berries: Jellies, Jams, and Preserves Class

Summer Canning and Freezing Class Series:

Tuttle’s offers a great selection of summer Indiana produce, which is great for canning or freezing!  Come join us to learn everything you need to know to successfully can and freeze your fruits and vegetables during our summer canning and freezing class series. 

Berries: Jellies, Jams, Preserves, and More:

This class will focus on how to make jam, preserves, or jelly from berries such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries.   We will also cover the difference between jam, preserves, and jelly.  We will talk about different regular and sugar free pectin options and options for deciding to freeze or can your preserves.  We will also cover the basics of how to freeze whole strawberries, blueberries, and other berries for later.  This class will last approximately 1 hour.

Class Time:

  • June 10 from 9:00am to 10:00am


  • Adult – $10.00 per person for ages 14 and older
    • This class is geared towards adults.  Children 14 and older may attend with an adult and a purchase of a ticket.

Park in the parking lot on the west side of the road.  Please walk towards the pergola and look for the signs directing you to the class.

Classes that do not meet the minimum requirements of 10 registered participants may be cancelled.
